Meet The Team
Kia Ora! My name is Phoebe Driscoll and I am an active 17 year old passionate about making a difference in my community.
Every student deserves to feel confident and unstoppable - in class, on the sports field or stage! For many period care is still a barrier, we are on a mission to change this.
Through education, accessibility, and a whole lot of girl power, I want to empower the next generation to take on the world—without limits. Because your period shouldn’t hold you back.
One Friend at a time!
Founder - Phoebe Driscoll
Hello! One of our missions at Hello Period is to remove the stigma and taboos that still exist around periods.
We are so thrilled to be supporting Hello Friend. Normalising periods by talking about them openly goes a long way to destigmatising and normalising menstruation. It’s crazy that menstruation happens to half of the world’s population and yet it’s still talked about in hushed voices - if at all.
We love that this student-led initiative also aims to reduce period inequality. Not having enough money to buy decent period care is a challenge faced by thousands of students every month. One of the many benefits of reusable period care is just that - they are reusable. At Hello Period we strive to create high quality reusable period products that last for years, not hours. In fact, one Hello Disc or Hello Pad will last around five years. How bloody brilliant is that?
